Jolene Bextel, RVT:
Hi, my name is Jolene Bextel. I graduated from Colby Community College's Veterinary Technology Program, May 2001. I started working at Countryside Pet Clinic June of 2001 and I greatly enjoy working here. I grew up in a small town in northeast Kansas and where I spent a lot of time with our dogs, chickens, horses and the neighbor's cows. I loved helping and working with animals and went on to get a degree where I could continue to do what I love. My husband and I have two cats, Bella and Lilly that we adopted from the Humane Society in 2009. |

Graham Money, RVT:
My name is Graham Money. I joined Countryside Pet Clinic in 2003, following graduation from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology. I enjoy and inspire to provide the highest quality of veterinary care for our patients and to keep your pets healthy and happy so you can enjoy their companionship. While I'm not fulfilling my obligation to all Countryside critters, I enjoy relaxing at the cabin with my wife Ashley, and our two dogs, Camper & Trooper. |

Marissa May, RVT:
Hi,
my name is Marissa May. I have always loved working with animals and enjoyed
the interaction so much that I decided to pursue a career in Veterinary
Technology, so I went to Colby Community College and graduated in 2005. After a
couple of moves I am happy to be back in my hometown of Wichita and working at
Countryside Pet Clinic. I have been at Countryside since August 2007 and could
not imagine working anywhere else. My husband and I are kept busy in our free
time with our 2 boys, Fat Boy and Loki, our Brussels Griffon rescue dogs. They
both came from puppy mills, but do not realize they are dogs anymore. When not
working we enjoy going to Table Rock Lake with my family and going to the
Tipton farm where my husband is from.

Jenn Bumsted, Veterinary Assistant
My name is Jenn Bumsted. I had the opportunity to start at Countryside
Pet Clinic in June 2011. Having never
worked in a veterinary clinic before, I am privileged to pursue something that
I love. This love comes from a childhood
spent around not only dogs and cats, but also pigs, chickens, cows, and
horses. My husband and I have two rescue
pets, an Old English Bulldog named Remi and a cat named Cleopatra. We recently added four laying hens to our
family, Penny, Ruby, Feisty, and Lady.
The compassion and love that I have for animals, I now get to express
every day in my work as a Veterinarian Assistant, and I am so very thankful for
that opportunity. |
