Karen Childs:
My name is Karen Childs. I have worked in the front office for 5 years and really enjoy my job. I love visiting with clients and pets that I have known since I started and going through their pet's life together. My husband, Rob, 2 teenage children, Ben and Lauren and myself moved to the USA in 1995 from England. We have 2 miniature schnauzers, Sophie and Stanley, and a shy but lovable cat, Holly. In my limited spare time, I enjoy going out with friends, cooking and interior design. |

Ashley Hamby:
Hi, my name is Ashley Hamby-Money I have worked at
Countryside Pet Clinic since July of 2004. I work in the front office and with
the medical staff on occasion. Over the years I have become so attached to our
clients and patients I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else! Countryside Pet
Clinic has always made me feel at home and that is something I like to try and
pass to our patients and clients. I work with a wonderful team of doctors and
staff. I have two rescues Camper Moe or “Campy” an Aussie cross that someone
abandoned in a field when he was 6 weeks old.
I named him Camper because I couldn’t imagine anybody leaving a helpless
puppy in a field. So I told my husband he was camping and he was the dog for us
since we love to camp! Trooper Valentine or “pooper” a Setter/Golden mix that
was adopted from the Kansas Humane Society on Valentines Day. I told my husband
that for my Valentines Day present I just wanted to go to the Humane Society to
look. He fell for it and I got another puppy! When I’m not working I enjoy
reading, going to our family cabin and of course spending time with my boys!
