Home Away from Home
Countryside Pet Resort strives to offer the premier boarding experience through quality, compassion, and excellent customer service. Our team is committed to improving through ongoing examination of current processes to determine if there is a better way to handle any given situation. There is a manager, coordinator, or full time staff member on hand at all times that can deal with any unique situations, and ensure that the processes we have in place for proper care of our boarders are being fulfilled. We also monitor our boarders closely for any signs of distress. We have a white board that we use to keep track of any boarder that we may feel needs a little extra observation or care. If it is determined that more information is needed, we will initiate a care log that will stay with that boarder for the duration of its stay with us. In a few cases we may feel that contacting the owner is warranted, to see if they would like us to have one of the vets from Countryside Pet Clinic take a look at their pet and recommend any further care that may be needed. We may only interact with our human clients for a brief period of time at check-in or check-out, or during a phone call here and there, but we want to make that experience as positive as possible by meeting your requests and exceeding your expectations. Your pets are also our customers, and we interact with them on a continual basis. We want them to want to come back and visit us, so we pay special attention to their needs while here, in order to make their stay as comfortable and fun as possible. There is nothing better than really getting to know a boarder who comes to stay with us on a regular basis, we get to know their patterns and they get more comfortable spending time with us at their home away from home. A Day in the Life of a Countryside Boarder
After our team arrives in the morning, they start in on walking our boarders. While someone supervises the activity outside, the rest of the team members are cleaning the home, providing fresh water, food, and treats per parents direction. After our boarder has had a chance to stretch their legs, go the the bathroom, and get some fresh air, they are brought back into their home where breakfast awaits.
During the middle part of the day our staffs number one priority, after required duties are performed, is to get our boarders out of their homes and outside for additional walks and interaction with team members. In addition, team members are continuously walking around the resort performing duties, and if a boarder appears to need additional attention, more water, or a mess cleaned up, they do it immediately. A clean and comfortable environment is a top priority for all of our boarders, and we do whatever we can to ensure it is provided.
Starting about 3:30 -4:00pm our team starts on the evening shift duties. Boarders are again walked outside while team members inside clean up any messes, provide fresh water, and feed according to instructions. After our boarder is brought back in and had time to digest, time permitting, they will get an additional walk before lights out. Homes and Amenities
