Hey y’all! My name is Dr. Kathleen and I am originally from Lake Dallas, Texas. I started my journey in Kansas back in 2011 and did my undergraduate and veterinary studies at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. GO CATS! I decided that Kansas was my home after meeting my husband, Phil, during vet school. After graduating in 2019, I started practicing at a mixed animal clinic in Hutchinson. Eventually life brought me to Wichita in 2021, and I have been loving it ever since!

I have 2 yellow labs named Gatsby and Mac and 3 cats named Frank, Fitz, and Katniss. My husband and I welcomed our daughter, Adaline, into our lives in August of 2022.

As a family we try to get to as many zoos as we can throughout the year. We also travel either to my husband’s family in Beloit and Abilene, or we go and see my family in Texas. We enjoy going on walks with our dogs and watching our daughter grow every day. I personally love reading, listening and singing to music, and cheering for the K-state Wildcats, Chiefs, and the Texas Rangers.

As a veterinarian, I have a special interest in dermatology, canine reproduction, and preventative medicine. I want to help as many pets as I can while also providing the best care. I also try to bring a light and happiness to those I meet and care for.

I have come to truly love working at Countryside. The staff who works here are another family that I can depend on, and I hope you can depend on us, too!
